The 10th edition of the Festival Cinéma Jeune Public will take place from 20 to 24 November 2024, between Lausanne and Pully. Each year, the festival offers children from the age of 3, young people, families and schools a varied programme of films and workshops. With an inclusive approach to film education, it offers a rare alternative to the traditional cinema experience. The aim is to bring together a diverse audience around a rich programme of films and help them discover the many genres, techniques, professions and worlds of cinema.
This year, Claude Barras' film Sauvages, which has just been nominated for a European Film Award, will take centre stage. The director will take part in the Kids Film Forum, a day of meetings with professionals working in the film industry for young audiences, on Friday 22 November at the Maison Pyxis.
