The Sound 8 Orchestra is a one-man show with visual special effects. Multi-instrumentalist Matthias Wyder's project lies somewhere between easy listening, low-budget lounge music, retro-futuristic B-movie soundtracks and psychedelic electro sounds. Wyder's keyboard sounds are played against a synchronised backdrop of found footage films projected by three Super 8 projectors. The result is an audiovisual experience that is different at every concert.
