This year, the YOUNG AUDIENCE FILM DAY will be held in Lausanne VD, Lavin GR and Lucerne. The event will take place on Sunday, 3 November 2024. The programme includes a screening of the best European youth film of 2023, followed by a discussion and a live-streamed Q&A, as well as the presentation of the three new film nominations for 2024. The programme will be rounded off with two on-site workshops on the topic of ‘Scriptwriting & Staging’, where young people can get involved creatively and film short scenes they have developed themselves. The film talk with the director and the main actors will be streamed live from the stattkino Lucerne to numerous other European cinemas with young audiences. They will be able to participate in the discussion via online video conference. All participating young people can also apply to be part of the international voting jury, which will select the best youth film in Europe in 2024 by the beginning of December.
