European Queer Cinema: FLEE at the PinkPanorama Film Festival

For more than two decades, the queer film festival PinkPanorama has enriched the cultural life of Central Switzerland. The four-day cinema event in Lucerne shows films that would otherwise not be screened in the region and is also an important social meeting place for queer people and their friends. On the eve of the 2024 festival, PinkPanorama is organizing a special screening of FLEE (2021) and a discussion on the topic of “European Queer Cinema” on the occasion of the European Film Awards Lucerne. The animated documentary by Jonas Poher Rasmussen won Best Documentary and Best Animated Film at the 2021 European Film Awards as well as the European University Film Award.
